USC A4501 (A4501)

The RMC A4501 (DASC Dual Analog SENT Converter) converts two analog accelerator-pedal signals or a CAN setpoint into two SENT output signals for connection to an engine control unit. Receipt of a valid CAN telegram activates CAN control; if the telegram is absent for approximately 1 s, the converter returns to analog operation. Selectable slew-rate limiting prevents abrupt SENT value changes, while CRC 2010 and operation without a pause pulse define the output format.
