The AKB A8041 conditions activated carbon canisters using a controlled 50:50 mixture of real gasoline vapor and nitrogen. Direct gravimetric loading control with a DAkkS calibrated precision balance monitors actual weight gain and supports constant loading, target weight loading and the regulatory 2 g breakthrough criterion. A controlled 3 L fuel evaporator with cyclic fuel replacement maintains reproducible vapor conditions during extended cycles. Continuous acquisition of process and ambient data supports traceable regulatory, development and customer specific testing.
